The market structure of manufacturers has changed significantly: Thunderbird Air 3S performed excellently with its new product, driving a substantial increase in its market share; Xreal still maintained stable shipments relying on Xreal One; Inmo also achieved a YoY growth in shipments driven by its new product go 2; however, Pico’s share declined due to the product transition period and failed to retain its original market ranking.
IDC stated that the shipment volume of China’s smart glasses market is expected to reach 2.846 million units in 2025, a YoY growth of 116.4%. Among them, the shipment volume of audio and audio shooting glasses is expected to be 2.202 million units, a YoY growth of 183.2%; the shipment volume of AR/VR devices is expected to be 644,000 units, a YoY growth of 19.8%.
IDC analysts believe that in the second half of 2025, China’s smart glasses market will show a comprehensive deepening development trend. While maintaining a steady growth pace, the focus of industry competition will shift to AI ecological integration, channel system optimization, technological collaborative innovation, and scenario demand matching. Various manufacturers are actively building differentiated technological barriers, which to a certain extent promotes the market to evolve into a more mature and perfect form.
