Tmall Double 11 Taobao Flash Sale Service Upgrade: Food Delivery Orders Overdue by 20+ Minutes Qualify for Free Order

The 2025 Tmall Double 11 officially launched on the evening of October 20. Taobao Flash Sale, participating in the Double 11 promotion for the first time, announced a service upgrade on October 23: launching the “Hot Stores” channel and introducing the “20-Minute Overdue Free Order” service to further enhance the user experience during the promotion.

At 8 PM on October 20, the 2025 Tmall Double 11 officially went on sale. Platform data shows that on the evening of October 20 alone, 39,622 catering brands and 2,215 non-catering brands saw their transaction volume grow by over 100% compared to when Taobao Flash Sale was launched. At the same time, night snack orders in 278 cities increased by over 100%.
